Thames Valley Police jobs up for grabs in Berkshire right now

Here are all the Thames Valley Police jobs up for grabs in  Berkshire right now.

Neighbourhood policing administrator (Reading)

This part-time role would see you working 18.5 hours a week.

As part of the neighbourhood policing team, you would closely work with partner agencies to tackle the issues that are of most concern to the community.

The job pays around £21,700 per year and the closing date to apply is May 31. 

PIP1 investigator – Newbury

This full-time position would see you assist police officers in the investigation of criminal offences and other incidents, and prepare case papers, ensuring file completeness and delivery in accordance with court deadlines, legislation and force policy.

Duties will include taking statements of evidence from victims of crime and witnesses along with interviewing suspects in custody.

It pays around £28,000 per year and is based in Newbury.

The application closes on May 31. 

Detective Constables – Berkshire-wide (and High Wycombe and Amersham in Buckinghamshire) 

Thames Valley Police is looking for experienced Detective Constables currently working for the Home Office to join their ranks.

Becoming part of TVP will mean joining a ‘forward-thinking, modern police force who provide a wide range of career development, specialist posts, and promotion prospects’.

The job application suggests TVP is keen to recruit more officers from Black, Asian and other minority backgrounds.

It’s not disclosed how much this one pays, but TVP says you must be a fully qualified Detective (PIP 2-accredited) and experienced investigator already.

Volunteers in Slough and Newbury

As well as the paying posts above, Thames Valley Police are also looking for volunteers in Newbury and Slough.

In both areas they’re after cadet scheme leaders.

Volunteers would assist in running Cadet weekly sessions and supporting Cadets at events and community activities.
