MCCARTHY STONE OPENS ITS DOORS TO HENLEY-ON-THAMES RETIREES
Retirees are invited to an exclusive viewing of Albert Court on Reading Road on Thursday 6th May when the McCarthy Stone team opens the doors to the Retirement Living Plus development.
Appointment bookings are now being taken for socially distanced tours of Albert Court, giving local retires the opportunity to find out more about the independent lifestyle they could be enjoying at the community, which features a collection of luxury apartments for the over 70s. The safety of McCarthy Stone homeowners and guests will be paramount during the open day, with all appointments managed on a one-to-one basis.
Guests will be able to walk around the show complex before moving on to the development’s social areas, including the homeowners’ lounge, bistro-style restaurant, and on-site salon.
McCarthy Stone representatives will also be on hand throughout the day to provide a warm welcome, to explain the many benefits of Retirement Living Plus and answer any questions guests may have about Albert Court. There will also be a chance to find out more about the flexible care and support packages which can be tailored to the individual requirements of homeowners at the development.
Guests who attend the open day will receive a National Trust gift card, so they can experience spectacular local places at their leisure this spring. They will also be entered into a draw to win one of 10 annual National Trust memberships. Terms and conditions apply and can be found on the McCarthy Stone website at mccarthystone.co.uk/lifestyle-gift
Julie Ward, National Sales Director for McCarthy Stone, said: “It’s certainly been a year like no other, but there can be no doubt that retirees in Henley-on-Thames and beyond have shown their strength and resilience throughout the challenges presented by the pandemic.
“As we now enter a more cautiously optimistic time, so many of us are looking forward to making plans for the future and to embracing our freedom and independence yet again. For some retirees this will mean reassessing their living arrangements and making a lifestyle change so they can live their retirement years to the full in a place where they can truly be themselves while also feeling connected and part of a flourishing new community.
“We therefore believe now is the perfect time to open the doors to Albert Court and welcome local people into the development so they can really get a feel for it and see for themselves why this way of life is such a big hit with today’s retirees. We are all looking forward to meeting our guests on Thursday 6 May and showcasing Albert Court and Retirement Living Plus.”
Prices for the one and two bedroom apartments at Albert Court currently start from £400,000 and £550,000 respectively. Rental and Part Buy Part Rent options are also available to make moving even easier.
